Hey Chaooos - Montreal had a great game last night - but will come down to a game 7 IN Washington and I don't think they're capable of pulling that off.
Kovalchuk will be an interesting guy in this free agent market - he wants a team that's capable of winning it all and that has the $$$ for him. There's not too many teams out there of which NJ is one. It will all depend on how much less he's willing to take to stay on a winner. He said he likes playing in NJ - so we'll see. Never count out Lou Lamierillo.

Regarding my trip to Montreal - I play on a team here in NJ and we signed up for and played in a tournament up there. We managed to beat the other American teams we played but got spanked by the 2 French Canadian teams in our division. But the city is awesome and we had a great time.

True, how bad did it look? I was painting my daughters bathroom and missed that part of the game. I feel good about this series now though. The only fear I really had was the goalie playing out of his head like he did in game 7 of the Caps series. The Pens torched him which has to shake his confidence.

Hopefully even if he needs a few days, Staal will be ready to go moving forward.

I really thought you had a red carpet to the finals with all the top seeds taken out early.

Just goes to show - the playoffs are 95% having a Hot Goalie at the time. It'll be pitiful seeing the Flyers in the finals. But they seem to have a "force" / "angel" watching over them right now. Beyond belief.

The true Cup Finals are being played right now in the Western semi's - between the Blackhawks & Sharks. Both incredible & loaded teams. Whoever wins that - takes the east out in 5 or less.

Hey Chaooosss - I doubt you'll be reading this anytime soon but just thought I'd check in on ya......tonight is game 5 - who do ya like.....? I'm rootin for the Flyers - the eastern conference rep - they've defied all odds to this point - why not 2 more wins?

I give them a ton of credit for not mailing it in and hanging in there especially during the Boston series where they were down 3-0 in the series. I hate pronger but they are a resilient bunch. + I'd love to see Cup chasing Hossa get beat a 3rd time in the finals.
